Currently interviewing for an AVP role in the Credit dept. of SMBC in Frankfurt. Anyone with direct experience re comps for associate/AVP position?
The director that interviewed told me to give a range and to be mindful that if my ask is above their budget, I would get immediately discarded by HR even if they like me as a candidate. Is this common?
