I've been looking for sophomore summer internships in IB but so far been unsuccessful in securing an internship. As a bit of a background, I am an international student who comes from a target school with a 3.43 GPA who is looking to go into IB. I was wondering if I should start cold emailing small banks for summer internships and if so, how do I go about searching for and emailing banks to secure one?
