Sophomore internships - Need insight

I’m currently applying for 2022 summer internships; coming from a non-target, trying to eventually break into BB/Elite MM IB (probably through an MSF Program). From the perspective of an admissions officer or a BB recruiter, what would look better:

summer IB analyst for a small boutique firm, or non-IB role for a more prestigious firm (like equity research for BofA or transaction advisory for Houlihan Lokey)
