Speaking with recruiters for different locations

I am looking to switch roles within finance; most likely in the same role (PE) but tbh also open to other similar roles like buyside equity research, etc.

I am open to working outside my current location as well. I am from US but working in UK / Europe. Going back to the US would be my last choice. I am open to UK / Europe, ME, Aus/NZ, etc.

The problem is that there are only a few recruiters that cover these regions. How do I approach the convo that I am open to working in any of these regions? I have heard that if you are too open they won't take you seriously. Any other advice or referrals to recruiting firms would be appreciated.

I am looking for roles in corp dev, PE / PE LP side (including infra, commodities, or impact; in short, private markets), or something like buy-side equity research.
