Spring Admit - Disadvantaged?

Hey! Although I have been a lurker, I would like to ask a question regarding internships for undergraduates.

I'm an international high school student who was recently admitted to USC Marshall as a spring admit (I will be joining their class in 2024, still graduating in 2027), and wanted to ask if anyone could share experiences as to whether spring admission could affect my chances at landing an IB internship -- I'm looking to see what finance is about, and hopefully work in finance one day, and I don't mind if I work in the east or west coast; really whatever offers itself. I assume USC is more geared toward west coast banking.

And aside from knowing if spring admission might affect my chances at IB internship recruiting, I would also really appreciate it if anyone could offer insight into the pros and cons of spring admission for a prospective finance career (club admission, other setbacks, potential benefits, etc).

Thank you so much! Any advice and responses would be greatly appreciated.
