S&T to HF
So I want to ultimately work in a hedge fund as a trader. But I dont want to go the IB route so i want to go into S&T. If someone is a successful trader at a BB would it be difficult to transition into a HF as a Excecution Trader. And also in my undergrad what skills should I be looking to build so it makes that transition easier.

You don't have to be an execution trader.
The type of fund that hires people from S&T is a completely different strategy than the type that hires from IB.
FICC traders go work at macro HFs. They don't go work at event driven or fundamental L/S like IBers.
Go learn about different HF strategies. If you're asking this Q, you don't know enough about how funds work to be interested in them.
Oh okay thanks. Is there anything I should learn or should I just focus on breaking into S&T?
