Start at an IB in Canada and move to the US?

Hi everyone,

I am an undergraduate at Georgetown University. I am thinking about working in Toronto after college (I am a Canadian Permanent Resident).

I am thinking about starting at an IB in Toronto because I am worried that I would not be selected under the H1B visa lottery (I don't think financial analysts qualify under TN visa). What is the common protocol of BB banks if the candidate is not selected under the lottery?

Also, would a Toronto IB to a US (PE perhaps) be a possible track? If not, what is a better solution?

Thanks in advance for your inputs and suggestions.
