Stock Picking Track Record On Resume
In my current role I spend the majority of my time stock picking. Due to luck and the improvement in my ability, my picks in the latter half of my experience vastly outperformed my first half. I was also promoted around this time from something like "Equity Analyst" to "Senior Equity Analyst". I do think that my stock picking autonomy increased around this time (boss saying look at X versus me sourcing X).
Note that this is also my first and only experience out of college. My resume is also listed w/ separate experiences under my senior role and non-senior role to spin it like my non-senior role was when I got a wide set of experiences to develop my ability which I utilized to present actionable ideas when promoted.
Does it make sense to write it in this manner?
"Stock recommendations outperformed S&P 500 on average by 1%; stock recommendations since advancement have outperformed S&P 500 on average by 6%"
