My 1st impression is that the odds are against you given your school background and assuming you have no contacts.

That said, I'm much more concerned about the fact that you seem to have applied to so few places. If you're interested in consulting for example, you should seriously apply to other firms such as Oliver Wyman, Accenture, Booz, etc.

Recruiting, no matter how good you are, tends to be fundamentally a numbers game, with it just being a question of how many applications--> interviews you have. If you're serious about pursuing something else you should be applying much more intensively than you are right now.

Additionally, have you made sure your resume is in top shape? I don't mean just clean, good formatting; you should make sure that you actually have word-smithed sentences in everything you say on your resume to convey what you picked out of the job and just give off the illusion of extra impressiveness.

thanks for the comments, the freakin prob is i cant apply to all these other places because at the events many firms are telling me they are not looking to hire int'l students!, one of the few places that is looking to hire is MS and some other ones taht I have applied too, funnily enough after the career fair, i went to a restaurant with a friend who landed at E&Y a while ago and i bumped into the MS people again and they all remembered me, so I dno how that will help,

an associate who was pushing for me at JPM called me the other day to deliver the bad news that they wont hire me because i'm intl', so i really dont know wat the shit to do, my head is spinning out of control,
