Student in need of assistance

Hi all,
I posted a forum topic earlier and received very critical, yet important advice that I have recently used. I'm nearly reaching the end of my freshman year and have applied to several firms, have gotten one interview scheduled for this Monday. I am continuing to apply to as many internships that take freshmans to leverage my options. I have also became a student at the iBanking institute and I have learned key valuation and modeling skills. Being at a community college the odds are stacked against me; however, I remain relentless. I'm realistically projecting myself as becoming a student at UC Berkeley or Stanford, perhaps an Ivy on the East Coast like Columbia. I'm wondering, going forward provided I do get an internship offer, what I can do moving forward into sophomore year to continue to position myself for that Junior Year internship. And by the way, I hope to eventually land a spot in Private Equity. Please be as critical as possible in your assessments.
