Summer 2024 Recruiting
Current sophomore at semi/target school. Since recruiting runs march-may for 2024 BB/EB SA programs, how important can the sophomore summer internship be? No one will have worked yet, so talking about deal flows or gained experience would be impossible. I have heard that it does not really matter what you do sophomore summer for this reason, as long as you have something on your resume that is at least tangentially related. How valid is that assessment?
