Summer Internship - Currently a junior at NYU Stern

Hi, I am in a bit of a bind. I came here to seek some advice for my current situation. I am a currently a junior at NYU Stern School of Business and did not successfully obtain an offer through our summer recruiting program. I have continued to apply for an investment banking internship at regional boutiques, once again unsuccessfully. I am really feeling the pressure now that we are approaching the end of April and have now been in the process of straight cold-emailing and cold-calling. Any advice on the matter is much appreciated.

I was in a similar boat. I'd been cold calling / networking hardcore for months. Finally landed something yesterday. There is no easy way -- this is the only way. You know what you have to do, and you seem to be doing it. Try upping the game from phone calls to in person meetings, as more gets done this way (i.e. people do more for you). You'll need some luck, but you never know when it'll show up.
