Summer Internship - Still Searching

Hi everyone,

So, I'm still searching for a summer internship… I got two or three interviews, none of which worked out. Applied to many jobs, called hedge funds, networked, etc.

I am at non-target with a non-finance pure science degree, but I took econ/fin classes since the past year. Still… I must be doing something wrong.

I got some feedback: one found me too aggressive, the other not enough. Ah.

Anyway, I don't want to pass too much time on this. I have about 2-3 weeks to settle something or else - to call it off for this year. At this point, it's more like anything goes, right ?

My plan :

- call boutique investment, hedge funds or wealth management firms in my city + the closest, bigger city
- scout for non-IB-or-related jobs at banks
- hope and pray for something to fall on my lap

I would LOVE some advice about what should my top three priorities to settle an internship for the summer be, as we are quite far in the game.

Thank you,

HD
