Summer Plan B...

Kind of in a bind here and have no summer internship despite my efforts. I had a fair amount of interviews but kept getting sidelined by excel/accounting/finance background questions. I am a recent social science graduate from an okay state school with good gpa and am going to get a msf n the fall. Until then I want to make my summer as productive a s possible. I was thinking that even though its kinda lame I would do the dealmaven course and get the certificate to show I at least tried to get some finance experience. What do you think, any other suggestions?

Dealmaven is EXCELLENT and the scores are often taken seriously. Try networking a bit and explain that you are placing experience over pay in order to make the best use of your time.
