The Ultimate Interview Prep....plan of action..

Hi Guys....

Let me use bullets for what is going on in my life ATM:

-work in finance, 3 years tenure in Ops, RM work and sales
-opp to work across country at role @ IM firm, respectable company
-in terms of prep, ive gone through the first 2 rounds of phone interviews, and i'll be flying out to meet with their team over the next several weeks.

my intentions are:
-familiarize myself with their strategy and sentiment on the market. learn their general asset allocation, benchmarks, client base etc.

-read their quarterly reports so i can fluidly discuss their review of different macroeconomic conditions and forecast how they might deal with a bearish market in the future

-since position requires getting a 65 upon hire, I plan on purchasing test prep/studying fervently up until my trip. at this point, i'll have the material on me as to say "i'm one step ahead of the curve" at the physical interview.

how does this sound? is it too "try hard", or will this approach benefit me tremendously?

THX

jeff
