I'm currently studying at UT Austin's business school and havent read much about it on this forum. Thoughts on it regarding recruiting?

One of my boys went there and said they have decent placements based on his network/friends who are working on Wall Street now.
Ton of opportunities if you're (a) in BHP (b) in one of the premier investment groups, as there's a couple good ones to join (c) diversity, especially latino. A lot more competitive if you're just regular McCombs. Complete non-target if Econ, although not impossible to break in. Source: went there and transferred to target, now at T3 BB
Where did you transfer?
UT-Austin grad here. McCombs will give you the best placements among schools in Texas. We place across BB, MM and EB (to a lesser degree) every year. That said, if you are smart enough to get into McCombs Honors and want to work in NYC, you might be better off at an East Coast target.
