Time to Follow-Up

I had a first round phone interview last Thursday, and it went great: the recruiter and I had good rapport, she said all of my qualifications are in line with what they are looking for, and that she would be trying to get the process moving to the next step (another phone call with a partner) as quickly as possible. She emailed me that day asking what my current base salary is, and what my expectations are, to which I replied with 20-25% above base. I was told by my friend who referred me for the position that his manager said I should request 20-25% and then take 10-15% above base. Anyways, I haven't heard back as of today. Should I wait until tomorrow follow up, or should I reach out to the recruiter today?
