Accepted a VC job a few weeks ago that begins in December of the 2nd year of my analyst role. Super excited about it but also…sad to be leaving? I work with a really great team and I know that being a career banker is not for me but still feeling torn.
My new team will be awesome as well but it’s weird to think that my time in banking will be coming to an end. Wondering if anyone else has felt the same? I guess I don’t feel like my time in banking has been so terrible that I need to quit asap - but I know that it’s not sustainable for me.
