Trying to break into Rx

I am a current Sophomore, at a pretty solid, but still non-target school interested in getting a Restructuring internship for my junior year summer. This recent decision came about two weeks ago in early February and I have been grinding technicals since and feel that I have a pretty solid resume.

What I am most concerned about is getting first-round interviews as my school has no bankers in Restructuring currently and I have been struggling to get responses to cold emails. Is there anything I can do or change in order to get on more networking calls with Rx bankers to get first-round interviews? Would they be more open to in-person coffee chats in NYC if that was an option?

Grateful for any advice, thanks.
