Trying to Get a Coffee Chat as a High Schooler
As my username states, I'm just a high school senior interested in finance, and for my class project, I need to interview someone in a field I'm interested in, but I'm having trouble finding someone. I've sent out around 30 messages on LinkedIn but haven't gotten one response, all people who live in my hometown of L.A., and some of them are alumni of the college I'm going to next year.
Can someone give me a ballpark of how many messages I'd have to send just to get one response? Or is the problem that I'm a high schooler and no analyst/associate would give me the time of day anyway?
