Two Internships at the Same Time

Hello, I am an income freshman at a target and i’ve ran into a dilemma I need some advice on. I recently started an internship doing accounting work and some financial analysis at a local aircraft company (well recognized name). But I was just yesterday offered an internship at a PWM firm. Currently, I work at the aircraft company Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursday, and the PWM firm says I can work Wednesday and Fridays so it’s possible to do them both. However, I think it would diminish them both and look bad on my resume to have them both at the same time. What are your thoughts and would doing it at the same time be a mistake?

I think this is actually a great opportunity. I had two internships during my freshman summer, one M-W in one city and Th-S in another city. Working 6 days a week, commuting and hustling, then earning return offers at both was actually a great feeling and I had a blast that summer. I also doubled my comp. I put both on my resume and it was nothing but a positive for me in interviews because it demonstrates time management and an ability to grind for what you want.

Great opportunity and actually enhances your resume as long as they are willing to work with each other, which it seems like they are. You can talk about how you balanced two internships at once and what that was like - great answer for the common questions about how you're able to manage a heavy workload or something. Would definitely go for it
