Type of meeting

Hi guys.. Trying to get a better read on situation. Have been communicating with a guy in sales and trading in Europe... He has been nice, but about 2 months ago he said that he wasn't sure about upcoming opportunities .

. Anyway, I emailed him yesterday saying I would be in town. He responded with, " drop me a line when your here. Let's grab a coffee". Btw , I am looking for internship. Is this just a friendly meeting, or more of an interview? ( good or bad sign?)

Everything is an interview

"I know you think you understand what you thought I said but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."

Don't sound desperate. Ask about the environment, work-life balance and etc.. Eventually you could hint that you are available for the summer.
