UIUC to IB

I've read the other posts on going from UIUC to IB but my situation is slightly different to that of many of the other posters in the past. I'm a rising sophomore and majoring in Econometrics and Quant. Economics. The deadline has already passed for me to transfer into the College of Business and was wondering how realistic it is to hope to land a job in IB out of undergrad. I understand this most likely means I will have to work even harder than other students but will this disqualify me from some firms? Thanks for any help.
