Unpaid Internship Background Check

I had an unpaid internship and luckily my two bosses will vouch for me if need be 3 Andy

Has any one been in this position and needed some one to vouch they did what they said(was unpaid) what is the official process background check companies use to deal this this issue?

I did an unpaid internship as well but so far no one I've talked to has asked for additional information about the company. They asked me what I did there obviously but they weren't too concerned about double-checking. My firm was tiny but it did carry a Wall Street dynasty family name so maybe they just took it as is because of that, but as long as you can articulate well in your interview the kind of work you did in your internship who is to second-guess you?
