Hey everyone, I've been recruiting for consulting internships and got rejected without an interview at a few firms I might want to re-recruit for FT.
Should I update my contacts at those firms that I didn't get an interview, in case I want to maintain a relationship especially for FT? And what should I say? Thank you!

I definitely think it's a smart move. Especially if those connections are pretty strong, just thank them for their support along the way and let them know the circumstances. I have a friend right now that is getting referrals from connections he made after he missed out on an FT offer after being a SA. It's a good habit to form (following-up) now becaue it does pay dividends later. Don't be too dramatic or anything. Just a simple thank you goes a long way.
