Used the Wrong Firm Name...Am I Screwed?
I was corresponding with an analyst via email from MBB when I cited the wrong firm name (different MBB). It was a sloppy mistake, and I sent a follow up email with a brief apology as soon as I noticed the error. His email was in response to my cold email requesting an informational interview. Is this going to have lasting implications for my potential candidacy at said firm?
May have left an odd taste in their mouth. Most people do not have the time in their day to let know about every mishap that someone cold emailing them makes.
Many people have insecurities that could lead to them taking this as a slight.
