Verbal Offer to Written Offer Timeline Bulge Bracket

Recently I have received a SA offer from a balance sheet Bulge Bracket (Think Citi/BofA/WF/GS, etc) last Friday verbally. They called and said they should have everything in writing Monday.. alas it is Monday and still no email. Super worried at this point, should I call back the person in charge of recruiting who verbally gave the offer and inquire or just wait a while? Any insight appreciated

No don’t trip about this man. Shoot a quick email to HR/Hiring Manager tomorrow just to alleviate some angst. Usually takes anywhere from 2-6 business days in my experience. You’ll be fine. Congrats.

You’re good bro. I went through the same thing. I was bit apprehensive because “it ain’t real till it’s in writing.” And I was waiting for that official paperwork but accepted less than a week later and the paperwork took a few days longer after I accepted.

If they extend a verbal offer and it’s a BB then you’re clear. Go and celebrate!!
