for summer 2023 do you expect capital markets activity to pick back up to “normal hours”?

Undoubtedly, currently we have holidays which according to seniors always slows down. But next year we shouldn’t have the same volatility in rates/inflation. Unless by next summer the markets are getting even more volatile with a full collapse of the economy. As long as you work in the high-grade market it should be fine as corporates often issue bonds to repay older bonds who are maturing. The DCM high grade market will always be active in some shape.
