What do American banks think of Canadian universities?
I'm an American who goes to school in Canada and I've been wondering what the general impression is among recruiters and people in the industry. I want to get an investment banking internship in NY next summer and want to know where I stand. Are some Canadian schools considered better than others? Do people even know about the reputations of Canadian schools?
Who cares. Canadians care about canadian schools. Work IB in Canada and maybe try to transfer to the states. I would stay in Canada anyways.
Check out your peers in the HIM program ;). McGill and Ivey (arguably Queen's) are probably the only ones that have a shot at NYC recruiting.
