What grade do I say I am in if I delayed graduation?

Would have graduated in June of 2028 but delayed grad to December of 2028 so I can re-recruit for IB/S&T. Can I claim I'm a sophomore during networking calls or do I have to say I'm a junior? Is there any way to get around the question of them asking what grade I'm in if they ever ask on a networking call

Did the exact same thing. Just say you are a sophmore, they have zero way of knowning nor do they even care. None of the bankers care enough to ask and HR only cares that you are a student.

What if I did this post-transfer, should I remove my old school from my resume? Or for my situation am I just going to have to explain delaying? Thanks

That is up to you. If you cannot read through your resume without it being obvious you were at another school (IE have important experience from there like a club etc), then you may just have to bite the bullet.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

Could I put class of 2029 on my resume even if I'm graduating in December 2028?

Would this work even for small/boutique firms where the people hiring are the same as the people you work with?

Just put an "expected graduation" date on your resume, not your class. Ambiguous and technically not a lie. 99% of the time the reader will just assume that is your class and if they don't bring it up then you don't have to say anything.
