I finished my freshman year of a BSc in Industrial Engineering this month. I have been networking last two months, but I haven't succeed. I realized that summer internships aren't so common here (Brazil) like in US. The problem: in my resume I don't have significant experience to put in. I think this is a lack in my profile. What kind of activities do you suggest for improve my chances of a interview next year? Remebering: i can't intern throught the year, my classes fill all my time.

It always seems hard to build up your resume as a freshman because intenships usually like to see past internship experience. I'd recommended really building up your extracurriculars, so joining relevant clubs/fraternities/charities and taking leadership positions in these.
Companies like to see this kind of experience, and if you can have meaningful leadership roles where you can describe/quantify the impact you had - it will go long way to landing that first internship.
If you have class projects that you can target to have a real effect this can be a good resume/talking point too. For example, I used my marketing research project to research perceptions of my school's current marketing campaign and worked with the school's marketing heads to design and present the results of the research.

Keep on working on it, I think you should feel pretty lucky to be bilingual and be in Brazil at this time. I know there was quite a few articles in The Economist talking about how Sao Paulo is becoming the financial nexus of Latin America and big PE firms and BBs are flocking there.
I think because you are such an unique applicant, you can try calling the BB firms and ask them to talk over coffee and build relationships. I also know that Goldman has a sophomore program for Brazil that you might want to check out. All in all don't worry, its your freshman year and don't worry so much about internships. You can try to take a leadership role in extracurricular programs such as clubs which can be just as effective.
