What should I do? - Should I follow up?
At a BB employer presentation at my school I made some connections and a person from HR emailed me the next day for my resume and said I have a "unique background". How much should I read into this? Is this a common practice or do I have a good shot at getting hired for an associate role (1st year MSc in computer science).
Should I follow up with the person in HR if I don't hear back from them? How long should I wait to hear back?
Did you send in your resume already? If you did not you could consider asking some of these questions in the email, albeit in a much more indirect form.
Reiterate interest, ask about expectations etc.
