What the hell does this mean???

Hi everyone,

Need some opinions. Been interviewing for a job I really want...so far went through 6 interviews with more than 10 people. The hiring manager wanted me to meet one more person and said he will organise but said the key interviews are done...he told me they are interested but r in the process of reviewing other candidates since i was the first person they spoke to.This was two weeks ago, at the time he told me they will make a decision the following week. That week I was expecting to hear back regarding the final interview I should have had but I didn't hear anything. Sent him an email but he didnt respond...gave hr a call and she said she is still waiting for feedback but no decisions on the position have been made yet....a week later which is today sent hr an email to follow and she responded saying that the hiring manager told her he will get in touch directly with me to provide details! Now I am wondering what does this mean? From my experience if I am rejected then I don't think hiring manager will bother delivering the bad news and would instead leave it to hr! What do u think this means?

Thanks

Seriously dude, ignore feedback from HR and wait for a decision. I've been told I was the world's awesomest person only to get dinged, and got offers from interviews that I thought were bombs.
