Hey - I currently have a summer internship with a large AM firm (think BlackRock/PIMCO), doing trade execution, but am not sure this is where I want to be full time. Does anyone have any insight on how AM career progression works - do they pay for an MBA? Also, if I was wanting to switch to IB or another buyside role fulltime, would this internship be attractive to other firms?
