Guys,
I've worked for an investment bank focused on privately held businesses so never truly got the technical training. Although, I did do the comps and precendents stuff including building lbo models for recaps and what not. Moved to NY (because I wanted to become a real monkey), now I work for a commercial bank, so I've taken a modeling and valuation course to fine tune my modeling skills.
What's my best shot at getting back into I-banking? and should I be looking at second-year analyst position with a boutique or is there any possibility I could get into an analyst program at a bulge bracket. Maybe try to hook up with a recruiter?
