When Do The Fall SA Postings Close?

Is it usually in Oct/Nov or are there a good amount that close mid Dec?

The reason is.. I pretty much let up on the gas at the end of the semester. I should've had a 3.8, which would've brought my GPA to 3.7 overall, but instead I'll probably get a 3.4 or 3.6 if my professor is feeling generous. A 3.4 would bring my GPA to a 3.4X, which would pretty much eliminate me from all BB recruiting.

If the SA postings end in mid dec, I'll have Fall semester to bring up my grades a little.

If not, I'm SOL and will probably have to go the financial advisor route =/

Btw, are corporate finance with GOOG/IBM/MSFT etc as competitive as IBD/S&T/ etc..?
