When is the best time to start being an intern?

Several things...

If I wanted to go into finance/IB and become an analyst after college, etc., when is the best time for me to start having a summer intern position at a BB/IB? Secondly, is having a summer internship considered a major plus when you apply for a analyst position after you graduate from college (I presume yes)? Finally, if I wanted to just do 1 or 2 summer internships tops, would I be better off doing so for the last two years of college or will it not make much a difference? Thanks...

Generally most people intend to intern at an IB their junior-senior summer. You could also do it the prior summer (harder to get in) or just intern elsewhere (something finance related is smart). There's not really a rule but typically successful candidates (those that end up as analysts) complete an internship their junior-senior summer.

You should just run some basic searches on old threads to get a general idea because you sound clueless about the process at the moment (no offense or rudeness meant by that).

If you've still got specific questions, feel free to ask them
