When to Know if Someone Will Pull My Resume
Hey guys just wanted to see if you had any advice for me. I was referred to an MD at A MM bank and he encouraged me to apply for the 2022 summer internship. I had a phone call with him recently and just recently sent him a message telling him I am submitting my resume and CL this week and so on.
Do you think he will pull my resume? Should I send him and email with my resume and cover letter attached with a final thank you? Disclosure this is Fixed Income.

99% of the times the MD just forwards the email to HR or recruiting team and they take note of it. I wouldn't keep sending him your resume or application updates unless he is a real mentor.
Yes we have talked numerous times and he even sent me pics from his vacation. I have not submitted my resume yet but do you think I should send him an email with it? Appreciate it!
That sounds like you’re fairly friendly, and a lot closer than a one-call relationship, in which case submit your resume normally and let him know that you’ve applied.
