Which proprietary trading firms offer the best trading program?

Hi everyone,

How is going, today? I need some advice on trading career.

I recently just got back from Singapore, finishing my contract job as treasury where i got to experience with currency trading. I have the passion, math skills for it so i want to go to Chicago for a trading assistance position.

Does anyone have suggestion on which trading programs offered by proprietary firms from Chicago to join? There are so many of them and I don't know which criteria/characteristics to base my decision on.

Thank in advance, Gustavo

P.S Do they pay base salary during training period?

I don't know about Chicago but First NY Securities offers 50-60K from training through the end of 1st year I think.

Here to learn and hopefully pass on some knowledge as well. SB if I helped.

I have many friends from school who are prop traders in the Chicago area. The best ones to my knowledge (in no particular order) would be: DRW, Belvedere, and Chopper. I think Cutler Group is a decent one as well. Most of these will pay in the 50-65k range to start + annual bonus.... Hope this helps

And so it goes
