Why I Hate Career Fairs

I just attended a virtual career fair and messed up. I can't think of many topics to talk about in that short period of time you're supposed to 'sell yourself'? You're expected to know about the firm so you can't ask about the company or its past transactions. If you talk too much about yourself, it shows that you're arrogant. How else are you supposed to communicate effectively and establish a bond during that 10 minutes?

It’s not that difficult man, just tell them about your past experience and then ask questions relating to the job / firm. No need to overthink it. Most booths at career fairs are more informational than anything, none of my internships or jobs were a result of one of them
