Why is HireRight so f*ing terrible?

Has anyone else here been amazed by how terrible the people at HireRight are at their job in the onboarding process? Interned at a BB last summer and had them run the screening process for that, and now I currently have to deal with their bullshit for full-time onboarding as well. Last spring I had to explain about 5 different times to these people that I did not have a paystub or W-2 to verify an unpaid internship I had worked the previous summer, even after they spoke directly with my boss from that internship and he verified I worked for him. A year later, I'm starting full-time in IB, and what do you know, they're asking me to provide the same non-existent paystubs to verify I worked an internship that they've already apparently cleared me on. I'm also now running around trying to dig up some form of documentation for random small-time jobs I worked like 5 years ago that are now incredibly irrelevant but I apparently made the mistake of mentioning on the old resume I submitted to the bank when I applied originally. I also needed to submit evidence that I worked for this BB to HireRight, which was easy, but I thought was funny since it amounted to Company A paying Company B to figure out whether someone had worked for them.

Also, whenever they reach out to me they do so with terrible grammar.
