There's a considerable amount of middle office in Jersey City. A lot of the divisions also take names like "New York X Team." It's kind of weird but I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you.
Non-target superdays for FO (fairly certain it is the same for targets, too) have been held at its JC office in recent years, so nothing to worry about.
The GS office in Jersey City is literally directly across the Hudson River from the financial district
When I interviewed for a Summer Analyst IBD position in November 2012 (accelerated process), the interviews were held at the Jersey office as well. You're fine. Good luck!
