Worried about interview
I had an interview last Wednesday with a small and newish firm for a summer internship. The interview wasn't structured at all, it was more him telling me about the role and the company (which I knew beforehand having researched) and some really light questions like if I'd be able to do the work, etc. I think the interview went ok, and at the end we talked a bit about his background and story. He said to expect to hear back 'very soon'. I still haven't gotten a response yet, and the thank you email I sent also hasn't received a reply.
I'm really anxious about this because the school year is almost over and I still don't have anything lined up for summer. If I still haven't heard back on Wednesday, should I send an email just to reaffirm my interest? Also, how do you deal with interviews when you're doing more listening than talking? Thanks
If they are selling you hard on the position it usually means one of two things:
1) They are sold on you as a candidate (offer/waitlist) 2) Its a shit job and they are trying to sucker you in
At this point I'd be fine with taking a shit job and dealing with the mindless grunt work later on.

Are you familiar with financial modelling, op?
^ No.
Bump. When I follow up should I email or call?
