It depends on your grades. Everyone assumes they can get a 4.0 in any subjects but its not true. Thats probably going to be the most important part of this decision and one that we cant help answer for you. You need to look at the curriculum, look at how engineering classes at your school are graded vs econ, and where u fall in terms of rank at your school. Maybe your econ department is harder than your engineering dept, you gotta know these things and decide accordingly.

Also plz be realistic about your intelligence. Overestimating your intelligence only hurts you when u fail out of the hardest courses u could have taken.

Obviously my opinion is err on the side of caution and go with econ and take the easiest classes u can and focus on extra curricular stuff since your classes are such a breeze. Making your life more difficult than it needs to be is silly.
