Wrong reason for leaving previous job in background check
I made a mistake when filling in the background check form. When asked for the reason for leaving for one of my previous jobs, I wrote in the form that it was a temporary job and I left when the contract ended. The background check company went on to confirm this with my previous employer who informed the background check company that that I resigned from my job.
I was in a huge rush when completing the background check form as I was studying for exams when they asked me to fill in the form and was reminded several times to fill in asap and hence the mistake.
Would this lead to me failing the background check? I am really worried now..
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
