Any Advice Is Greatly Appreciated

Hi all,

I'm a recent graduate with a BA in finance and am looking for any advice to gain a position as a junior analyst in Los Angeles. I'm currently an operations coordinator that handles data validation for an E-commerce data migration project. The daily tasks include extracting SKU data from an outdated system and validating large data sets via vlookup and other Excel formulas. I also reach out to multiple departments to verify the values that I extract. I know that these tasks are useful for helping me gain a position as a junior analyst but I'm wondering HOW useful the experience is. I'm also wondering where I should search in order to find a position more directly related to finance. I have a VERY open ear to constructive criticism.
