Breaking onto a structuring desk in London from South Africa

Hi there,I'm a new member of this site. I'm an economics masters student in South Africa interested in getting onto a structuring desk. As you can imagine, structuring isn't that big in South Africa and its usually limited to equity-linked notes. I'm more interested in FX and interest rate structuring so I'm aiming to get into one of those in London. I wanted to find out a few things to help me:
1.What are my chances considering my major and location?
2.Which are the best banks to target for those two desks?
3.What skills are most important to portray (on my CV and in interviews)?

I would just like to add that I'm in my final year of the masters so its too late for a summer internship. Thank you in advance.
