Coursera will it help me?
Hi everyone,
Just signed up and interested in the investment and financial world. My question is, will taking coursers at coursera. help me? So far if have signed/will sign up for the following courses:
-Intro to Finance
-corporate finance
-Computational Investing Part 1
-Financial Engineering
-Market with Frictions
Currently I have no interest in working on Wall Street, this is primarily to gain personal knowledge; make better investments. Also until the above courses start, I have signed up at investopedia to play around with their virtual stock market to learn. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

You get what you put in. If you take it seriously, Coursera can be a very rewarding academic experience. If you do some and then quit, it will not help you at all.
