How is Columbia's PE placement?
Placement is great for those with experience. This year classmates got offers from megafunds, etc. Others without PE experience ended up at MM firms, usually after an internship. The school year internships help a lot for people without prior experience.
However, a lot of people do the value investing program to move from PE>HF. My perception is that CBS has a bigger network in hedge funds than in PE.
