Intro!

I'm at a big target technical school and a math/econ major I'm really busy but heavily interested in pursuing a career in finance. I'm definitely looking to learn from some of the more experienced guys on here. I worked at a small boutique bank in Cali the last two summers, looking for the next level

Welcome aboard, fellow Techie. Just curious - any reason why double minor instead of double major? 15 isn't too hard to get a double in, esp since two (maybe 3? I don't remember) of its requirements can be taken by 18 classes.

Currently: future neurologist, current psychotherapist Previously: investor relations (top consulting firm), M&A consulting (Big 4), M&A banking (MM)

So basically the 15 management science major has a ton of crossover and is only one more class. but since im pretty set on getting an mba after i graduate id rather but my time into doing as much econ as possible. so basically im an 18 minor 15 with a potential double major in 14 and definite minor. lolol well see what happens

Do the 14 double, it's so awesome. The advanced-level econ classes have REALLY good profs and are also pretty easy to get A's in. 14.26 is basically a case-study class, and 14.51 is taught by the prof who practically founded the study of urban economics. Definitely don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions/need old practice exams/prof recommendations/etc. I was a 14/15 double :) Almost minored in 21F but was missing one class (the requirements changed my senior year). Fail.

Also, if you're interested in summer internship in Boston there's a good MM I have connections with. They're probably just starting recruiting now so you have a good shot.
